Groundscape operate a range of UAV (Drones) from waterproof all weather equipment to thermal imaging UAV and lightweight inspection units.

The use of drones can remove the people factor from certain hazardous environments and situations such as deep excavations, inspection at height, fragile roofs, over water or in confined spaces for example.

Utilisation of drones for inspection provides for cost effective visualisation of process plants and equipment safely and at speed. Groundscape drones provide high definition images up to 50Mp with 3 x lossless zoom and 4k video. Autonomous inspection flights can provide overlapping images for resultant processing into orthomosaics and digital 3D models.​

Groundscape staff are BOHS P402 and P405 qualified for asbestos survey where required.

We offer a variety of drone services from general aerial images and live broadcast inspection flights to photogrammetry, 2D and 3D visualisations and models which allow for volumetrics, stock valuations, trial cut and fill calculations. We can provide aerial images for reports or survey quality information utilising GCP's for overlays onto standard mapping tools or for use with your own compatible software.​​
